GS Battery Successfully Organizes the 6th Family Day in Celebration of Its 20th Anniversary

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of GS Battery Vietnam Co., Ltd. (GSV), all GSV employees and their families enjoyed a truly memorable Family Day at Suoi Tien Tourist Area on May 13, 2017, joining in many exciting and engaging activities throughout the event.

During this Family Day, employees had the opportunity to spend quality time with their families and freely participate in games and activities together. Children enjoyed swimming at Tien Dong Beach, watching dolphin performances, and playing in the Snow House, among many other attractions. More importantly, the event created a valuable opportunity for employees’ families to connect, meet, and better understand one another, fostering a joyful and vibrant atmosphere. The Family Day attracted the participation of more than 2,400 GSV employees and their relatives.

“New Determination, New Success” was the theme of this year’s Family Day. As a heartfelt expression of gratitude for the tireless contributions of all employees, the event marked a meaningful milestone in the 20-year journey of unity and perseverance that has led to GSV’s proud achievements today. GSV also wished to extend its sincere appreciation to the family members of each employee for being a strong source of support, enabling GSV staff to perform well at work and contribute to the company’s development.

On this occasion, each employee received one valuable gift, such as an electric kettle, fruit juicer, infrared cooker, blood pressure monitor, or multi-function hotpot grill. GSV employees also had the chance to participate in a lucky draw featuring many attractive prizes, including a grand prize of a premium Honda Vision motorbike. The total value of the lucky draw prizes exceeded VND 235 million. In addition, employees’ family members had the opportunity to win valuable gifts such as mist fans, steam irons, microwave ovens, and many other prizes, with a total value of nearly VND 30 million.

This year’s Family Day carried special significance for all GSV employees as it looked toward the company’s 20th anniversary, celebrated the honor of receiving the Third-Class Labor Medal awarded by the President of Vietnam, and marked the 100th anniversary of the GS Yuasa Group.

The 6th Family Day concluded successfully, leaving a strong impression on employees’ families about GSV’s commitment to its core message, “Power Beyond Every Journey,” and its continuous care for the well-being of its employees.
